Send when the rate is good, not when you remember
Most OFWs send on payday whatever the exchange rate is. But a one or two percent move in the peso is real money: on a ₱20,000 padala it is ₱200 to ₱400 a month. Set the rate you would be happy with, and we message you once when it is reached, so you can send a little earlier or hold a few days.
How to pick a target
Look at the current rate above and choose something realistic, such as one to three percent better than today. Targets far from the market can take months to reach, and alerts expire after 180 days. Remember the rate here is the mid-market rate; the provider will pay you slightly less, so aim a little under your target when you actually send.
What happens when it fires
The rate feed is checked several times a day, and when your target is hit you get one message by email or Telegram and the alert is deleted. Then compare providers with the remittance comparator before you send. Do not delay a transfer your family needs for a small rate gain.
Your privacy
We keep your email (or Telegram chat) and your target only until the alert is sent or cancelled. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and nothing is used for a newsletter.
